Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to ensuring this website is usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. Last updated 8 May 2026.

Our commitment

Counseling with Courtney is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to the information and services we offer, including individuals with visual, motor, auditory, speech, or cognitive disabilities.

Standard we follow

This website is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities and more usable for everyone.

Features implemented

  • ·  Descriptive alternative text on all meaningful images
  • ·  A "skip to content" link at the top of every page for keyboard users
  • ·  Semantic HTML5 structure with consistent landmark regions
  • ·  Clear, visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
  • ·  Color contrast that meets or exceeds the WCAG 2.1 AA 4.5:1 ratio for body text
  • ·  Resizable text without breaking layout (use browser zoom to 200%)
  • ·  Keyboard-navigable navigation, forms, and links
  • ·  Descriptive link text rather than "click here"
  • ·  Reduced-motion respect: animations are disabled for visitors who request reduced motion in their operating system
  • ·  No automatic content (no autoplaying videos, carousels, or pop-ups)

Known limitations

We work toward conformance continuously, and some content may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. If you encounter an accessibility barrier on any page, please contact us using the information below. We will work to resolve it as quickly as possible and provide an alternative way to access the content in the meantime.
